I read a friend's blog and they had posted their top 5 celebrity crushes.... I thought it was a cute idea, so I am following suit. Of course it would not be fair if I didn't post Tyson's as well. So here are mine....
1. Gerard Butler
Need I say more???
2. Ryan Reynolds
he has such a great personality! (because I know him personally, we talk on the phone often...:)
3. Brad Pitt
I had this poster on my ceiling above my bed when I was 13!! (creepy??)
4. Collin Farrell
This man is just gorgeous.......gorgeous.......
5. Johnny Depp
I really don't need to say anything else about this guy...he gets hotter with age!
Now, for Tyson's crushes....
1. Salma Hayek
I have to agree with this one, she is so gorgeous! (except for when she was breastfeeding some random orphan in another country...eww)
2. Shakira
Too bad this picture doesn't show her girating, I think that's why Tyson likes her!
3. Jessica Biel
She's ok.....
4. Megan Fox
I have to admit, I have a bit of a girl crush on her too...she is too damn pretty!!
5. Kate Beckinsdale
For some reason, I think she is kind of snotty.....
Let me know if any of you agree with my top 5 or Tysons:)
It's MY blog and I'll brag if I want to!!

Grandma Toyoko & Grandpa Mikey

Aren't these two the cutest?? I swear if you were to put a cigar in Grandpa's mouth, he would look just like George Burns!! His name is Ralph, but my Grandma Toy calls him Mikey.... He is super funny and my grandma is super serious!
I have to share a "Grandpa~ism"
While I was visiting Tacoma, we were sitting there at dinner, about to order, and my grandpa was sitting there looking at the menu.
ME: "Gramps, what looks good? What are you going to order?"
GRAMPS: (looking at the menu very seriously and thoughtfully)
he then says, " I THINK I'LL HAVE SOME TURKEY TURDS IN RAIN WATER!"
It was so funny and random, he is the cutest old man on the planet!! I just love him and his sense of humor....

I am the luckiest girl ever!!

My husband is the most loving, caring, funny, self-less, handsome, sexy, and most thoughtful human being on the planet!! He felt bad for being so cranky yesterday and he came home from work today with red roses and purple carnations for me!!! I was so surprised and felt so loved. He really wasn't even that cranky, if I brought home flowers every time I was cranky, we'd have a rose garden in our yard!! Thanks babe! I love you so much!

My Loves
Here are some pics of my two LOVES!! Tyson and Ashtyn are so cute to watch together! Ty is such a wonderful daddy and Ashtyn just loves her daddy! They were rolling down the hill at the party last night having a blast! We really missed Kai, we will get him back home in 11 days!! Ashtyn was so well behaved at the party and really had a great time! Thanks Ty for your help!
Pioneer River Walk
In celebration of Pioneer Day, my stake had a little carnival type activity and Tyson and I were in charge of a game called the "River Walk" It consisted of three kiddie pools filled with water, the kids walked around the pools to "Primary Children Sang as They Walked" and when the music stopped, they all had to grab a rubber duck from the pool and the winning numbered duck won a prize.
Cutie Pie, Landon helping with the ducks!
It was a cute game and it went pretty well. Tyson was my maestro and was in charge of the music (what a good sport) Ashtyn was so cute as well, just wading around in the pools the whole time scarfing down her Sno cones from the snow cone booth across the field.
At one point during the night, Tyson couldn't find Ashtyn and thought she had just followed me to the restrooms. 5 minutes later, Ashtyn showed up at our booth holding these Sno cones, and they were both for HER! She walked up and said, "Look daddy, look what I got!" We laughed pretty hard at that and just let her knock herself out with sugar. Here are some pics from the night. I hope everyone had a fabulous Pioneer Day!!
This is Bro. Reed and the kids, he was an awesome help too!
This is Kennedy, she is such a cute, outgoing and PHOTOGENIC little girl! I just love her!
Kennedy jumpin in the dirty pool after all the kids' feet were in them!!
All the older kids jumped in after a very LONG night:)

HaPpY BiRtHdAy AsHtYn!!!!
My baby girl turned 4 years old today. AMAZING how time passes by so quickly. Being Ashtyn's mother has been nothing short of entertaining, fun, exciting, stressful, and INCREDIBLE!! I see so many of my personality traits in her, but by looking at her, I see my husband. She has the best of both worlds and we love her immensly. We had a birthday party for her at Chuck-E-Cheese, just a small one. Thanks to the Sant family for joining us and to Aunt Sandy and Uncle John for helping make this birthday a special one for Ashtyn. Kai was not able to join us this year since he is still with his dad in Utah. We love and miss him dearly. We had an excellent time but were glad to get out of the CRAZINESS of Chuck E Cheese.

A very dedicated grandmother.......
MY grandma is amazing. She is so dedicated to visiting my mother's grave more than once a week and watering the pot of flowers she puts on her headstone and she talks to her. It is the sweetest thing. I watched her with her gallons of water and her Japanese accent, talking to my mother as if she was standing right there.
She has had the hardest life, it really puts things into perspective. Every time I think I am having it rough, I think of her and try to "Buck Up"
She was sold as a farmhand by her own father when she was very young. Years later, my grandpa met her (during the war) and took her under his wing and married her and brought her back to America where she could have a chance at a good life. She is eternally grateful for this, he passed away a couple years ago and is buried by my mom. It was so great for me to visit my mom, it's been 8 years since I have been home (Washington) I will never let time lapse for that long again....ever.
Kylie-ism.... Washington style
Setting: My Aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents are all at a Chinese food restaurant
Everyone is talking about how wonderful my grandpa's recipe for Salmon dip is......
Me: (looking extremely confused)
Uncle Mark: "Kylie, why do you look so confused?"
Me: "Well I was just wondering HOW do you put the Salmon flavor in the dip?"
Uncle mark: (looking extremely AMUSED) "How do you think they put in the Salmon flavor?"
Me: "I dunno, maybe there is some kind of Salmon extract, you know, like Vanilla extract."
Everyone bursts out laughing, even my very collected grandmother..........
Apparently they use actual smoked Salmon in the dip....who'd a thunk?

The Black Widow.....

Okay, so Ashtyn and I have been taking walks later in the evening here to get rid of her wiggles since it is so desperately hot, we have to wait until nightfall. We walk around the block (it's a big block) and there is a fence that lines the way.
Well, last night, I ran into a GIANT SPIDER WEB!!! I freaked out and started trying to get the web off of me, while my poor Ashtyn watched in horror and was screaming. (My poor little girl was traumatized by THIS little incident) I gained my composure and Ashtyn and I started looking down the block at the fence in the street lights...... There were (at least what we could see) 15 spider webs with a black widow spider in each one, carefully crafting its web. I was so freaked out!!!
I walk this same route every day (in the daylight) and there was NO spiders. At night, they come out to craft their webs because it is dark and a little cooler. Ashtyn and I continued, very carefully, our nightly routine and counted 25 black widow spiders just by circling the block......EWWWWW.... It was like when I just watched Arachnophobia and had the heeby jeebies for the rest of the night!! I HATE THESE DESERT SPIDERS!!!!
