On a lighter note....

Hey all of my million readers out there in cyberspace!! (I mean, you know, my mother-in-law, GOD bless her for wanting to read this:) I just wanted to post something that is on a lighter note then a few of the recent ones. I realize that everybody struggles, everyday. I use this blog to vent, kind of like a journal, but also to keep our family and friends up-to-date with our lives. I DO think it is important to express my feelings, good or bad, because we all have our "days" and hey, that's who I am. I really do feel so blessed, so very blessed and as long as I keep that in mind and listen to my rock (Tyson) who encourages me and supports me everyday, especially when I am feeling down, I know I can get through anything life has to give me, or throw at me:)

Things with the house are still a little "up in the air" but, we did talk with the owner of the home and she promised us she would never leave us out in the cold and she knows its not our fault. Shw was very sweet and she is flying here next week to work this all out with us and the property management company, or shall I say, criminals. I feel so much relief that she will be here in person and we can make an agreement and get past this little bump in the road.

I officially start school on Monday, which I could not be more excited about. I am also VERY nervous, its been so long since I have been to school. This is online also, so I kind of have to teach myself these lessons without visual aids. Since opur computer is downstairs in the family room, where there is always chaos, kids playing and blasting television! We are seriously contemplating getting a LAPTOP, so taht I can really give my full 100% attention and get all that I can out of this experience and blessing of being able to go to school.

So, to finally end this novel (sorry so boring)

IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE WHO KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET A DECENT LAPTOP TO USE FOR SCHOOLING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. WISH ME LUCK. :)

YAY!!!!

I start school on the 26th! I am living my dream, despite all of the hardships, they have only made me stronger!! 26th! WATCH OUT WORLD, HERE I COME!!

The second Tyson comes home from work, the kids attack him and want him to play wrestling or hide and go seek. They can't get enough of it! We have a lot of laughter in our home despite our hardships. (especially lately) I feel like laughter is the BEST medicine. Thank GOD for Tyson!!:)

What is wrong with these people?!

So here is a little bit of a vent post. Bare with me. As you all probably know, Tyson and I are renting our house here in Las Vegas through a property management company. The owner lives in Hawaii, I have never met her but have spoke with her and she is very nice. Anyway, I received a phone call yesterday from Rony, the owner of our house, and she said she is suspicious of her management company because they have not paid her any of the rent money we've given since we have lived here. My jaw hit the floor and I was immediately VERY angry with the company. She was so sweet and I told her that Tyson had looked her up at the jail and she was recently arrested for Felony theft and check fraud. great..... I could not believe she had been pocketing all of our rent money since we've lived here. Rony said that she will have to short sell our house (well, her house) I was devastated because we LOVE this house and this neighborhood and Kai loves his school. So, I don't really know if I am suppose to call the police on her or if the owner needs to take care of it or what. I have all of our receipts so I am not worried about that, but I just hope we can work something out. We've been through ALOT of financial things this last year and I feel like we were finally on top ofthings and I am so bummed because it feels like if its not one thing its another!! The realtor for the owner is coming over tonight to talk to us and see what our options are. I really hope we can stay by some divine intervention. Wish us luck.

4 years!!!

Happy Anniversary babe! Today its been four years since I walked down the aisle to the man of my dreams........ We've been through a lot already and I couldn't have survived any of it without you. Thank you for being my rock, my voice of reason, and best of all, the love of my life. I love you Tyson, thank you for the best 4 years of my life!

A New Year comes new opportunities!

As you all know, Tyson and I have had quite a year! The biggest thing we did this year is move here to the fabulous Las Vegas! We are so much closer as a family now that we see each other everyday, the kids are more content to know Daddy is coming home every night. Things are starting to fall into place.

I have decided to start school this month. I enrolled at The University of Phoenix and I start my online classes on January 19Th! I am so excited to start school, I have always wanted to continue my education and after talking to my close friend, Christi whom already has been attending University of Phoenix, it got me excited! I immediately called them and met with my counselor and enrolled. I know it is going to be tough doing classes online and be a full time mom but there are a lot of others that have already done it. So, all I ask is your support and I apologize in advance if I call and seem a bit overwhelmed;) I am studying to get my Associates degree in Human Services and if all goes well, I will go for my Bachelors.
