70 degrees??......I'll take that!!

Recently here in the 702 (yeah I am that cool I use the area code:) Its been sooo nice out. Today, it got up to 75 degrees. I thought it'd be a good day to take Kai's training wheels off and try to teach him how to ride a bike. A bigger boy kinda took over...so mean, so mean.

I am sooo boring!

The last 4 weeks have been crazy. I started school and it is a challenge, but perfect for me. I am happy to be going to school again, it makes me feel like I am accomplishing something. I have been very sick with Bronchitis the last 2 weeks, so that was a lot of fun, I am just glad the kids and Ty didn't get it too. (knock on wood) We are hoping to make a trip to SLC FINALLY as soon as I get a break from school. We miss you all and hope to see you all soon. I am so glad we have the blogs and facebook to keep in touch with all of our loved ones. See you soon!

UPDATE....

As far as the house goes, the owner, Rony, came to Las Vegas and got a lawyer so she could fire the property management company ans start the process of taking them to court. She came to the house and met our family and brought us chocolate covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii. She was so sweet, she had her lawyer write up a new lease so now we're renting directly from her, so we don''t have to move!! I am so grateful that she was able to do that. The market is really bad right now especially in Las Vegas so she knew the house would not sell. Anyway, just wanted you to be updated.

In Hiding....

So, I have been neglecting my blog for a little while and I thought I would update you. I am taking online courses through University of Phoenix and it takes up a lot of time, but I really like it and I am excited to get my degree in Human Services. Since I have been doing a ton of schoolwork I have been rarely getting out unless I am picking up and dropping off Kai at the bus stop which is Ashtyn's favorite thing to do. She loves walking Kai to the bus but last time I had to run after her as she was climbing up the stairs to join Kai on the bus. Ashtyn is FINALLY potty trained!! I know I know bad parenting you are all thinking, she is way too old to just have been completely trained. She is so stubborn, we were putting her cute Elmo panties on her and having the pull ups just for night time. Ashtyn would find the pull ups and put on panties over them so we couldn't tell she was wearing them. (Of course we could unless she had her baggy pants on) So, we finally got rid of the pull ups all together and like magic, she is trained. Kai is doing wonderfully in school, he comes home with a green card for being good and he is learning a lot with his homework. Homework is Tyson and Kai's special thing they do together and its so cute. Tyson has had this week off of work for vacation and its been nice having him home. A plus for me doing online courses is he can't play World of Warcraft half as much as he would like to.... MWAH HA HA HA....
