June 24th we drove the family to Salt Lake to visit for a week and to visit the temple for the FIRST TIME! My in-laws home is my second home and they had visitors. My grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Curtis (they are actually Tysons grandparents, but they've adopted me as their own) and Aunt Sharon (same thing). They are the most wonderful people and it was so fun spending time with them!
June 25th was my night!! I was escorted to the temple by Grandma Schrader (whom I've also adopted as my own:) and it was a wonderful experience. She was lovely to have as my escort. So many people showed up to support me and I was humbled by the experience and the love. Although I cannot go into detail about my experience because we believe it is SACRED. I will say that it's comical that people spread rumors that we are naked in the temple when we are wearing plenty of clothing!! LOL
I got a call at 2 AM from my cousin Rochelle saying my Uncle Craig was in a terrible motorcycle accident and that they said we should "gather the family". I spent the last few days of my visit to Utah driving back and forth to Provo to spend time with my Auntie and Craig. Although it is a tragic thing, I was grateful to be in town and be able to see him and talk to him briefly. He is making progress and I now have feelings of peace in knowing he will eventually make a full recovery even though he remains in the ICU.
We had a wonderful time with my sister and brother-in-laws, the grandparents and lovely friends. It was one of the best visits to Utah we've had. I was sad to leave my uncle and to leave the family and beautiful Utah landscape that I will forever be so fond of. On our way home we stopped by the Indian reservation and picked up some "fun" fireworks and 4th of July was a BLAST, literally. :)
July 9th I was invited to an Elvis wedding. It was so fun and fir the bride and groom perfectly (thanks Asesis!) I noticed my ex had been calling through the day, but I was too busy to answer the phone.
Later that evening, I read a post on my Facebook saying how sorry this person was for my loss of Justin. I did not know what was going on and it was 1 AM. I soon found out that my friend who is very close to Jeremiah (my ex) and who I was once very close friends with, had decided to end his life. I was and still am heartbroken, and confused, and angry at him for the selfish act, and deeply sad that he felt so alone.

Justin Bryce Terry was a happy and fun guy. He always had a huge smile on his face and treated everyone as if you were his very best friend. He was adventurous and fun and happy. I mean, I am so confused. The last conversation I had with him was different than any other conversation I've had with him. It was about 2 months ago and he messaged me on Facebook saying he was upset with some things going on in his life. I told him I was here for him to talk to anytime he felt upset. I never heard back from him. He has two beautiful children and a lovely wife who I have known since high school. My heart aches for his family. I pray for them to find peace and comfort through this hard time. His funeral is tomorrow and I cannot make it to Utah for it, although I will be thinking of his family and friends and praying for them.
It just shows how fleeting life is, and how we should always hug our loved ones and express our love and gratitude to all of the people in our lives. Get in touch with old friends, tell everyone how you appreciate all they do. Make good and everlasting memories. God is good.

First off, congrats on going through the temple! I'm still sad I didn't make it. 2nd, it sounds like you are dealing with quite a bit lately. I can't believe Justin would do that. I wonder how he was feeling to make him do something like that. There is so much going on with people that we don't even know about. I feel bad for him and his family! Keep your chin up, it is during the ups and downs that we learn something.
I feel so bad for his family. He was going through a lot, but it's sad how he chose to deal with it. He will be missed, and I now he knows how much his family and his savior really love him. Too bad to see him die so young.
I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy that you went through the temple!!!!!! Congratulations!!! I promise to set aside a morning (or afternoon or evening) to meet ya @ the Vegas temple soon! (We need to get on the phone and pin down a date and time.)
I am also grateful that your Uncle Craig is going to be ok. I was at one of our family reunions when I saw your FB post and stopped what I was doing to say a prayer for him. (I really believe in the power of prayer.)
I am saddened by the death of your friend, Justin. He was a gorgeous guy and feel for what he must have been going through, not to mention the family he leaves behind. Last August one of my favorite cousins took his life and left behind a beautiful wife and 4 daughters. I was heartbroken. I never knew he had been dealing with the problems he had. I wish he'd opened up and shared his burdens with me.
You are in my prayers girl! You have a great family (who obviously adores you) and good friends (like me--ha ha) too. ;o) Love ya!

wow, you've been dealing w/quite a bit recently! that's so wonderful that you "made it" to the temple--seriously, i'm super proud of your decision to do so and i know your family will be tremendously blessed.
secondly, i'm so sad to hear about justin. have you talked to erin about it? i had no idea that he'd done that. poor guy. one of my good friends from college killed himself almost 5 yrs ago (and this guy had EVERYTHING going for him too) and i still think of him often. how are you doing w/it? i hope okay. we'll keep you and justin's family in our prayers.
